Cafe Graveyard Worker (10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday)

Position Overview

Prepare foods following café recipes and health department specifications for service to customers and Grab & Go display cooler. Keep all areas, equipment and walk-in clean and in good working order. Notify manager of equipment needing repair.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 30 pounds and be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, stretch and reach. Must be able to easily communicate with crew and customers in a friendly manner. Experience working in food required. Must have Washington State Food Handler’s permit. Professional references for previous graveyard shift performance a plus. Must be dependable, reliable, and work well independently. Must have reliable transportation. Must be in uniform: Mr. Growler’s shirt, name tag. Must work quickly and efficiently.

Job Duties

Prepare items for deli case and grab and go hot case

Ensure that deli case is stocked for the day, with additional backstock items available

Must know all café recipes and prepare items to specifications

Check delivered product against invoices before driver leaves

Help unload, date and stock all incoming food stock

Complete prep work daily to ensure that items are ready for the next shift

Date and weigh all food prep

Complete all paperwork: inventory and waste sheets

Leave area clean and orderly for next shift

Complete stocking and dishes before leaving for the day
